Dixie Chicken and Ribs

This is a popular lunch spot for locals and tourists. And they're known for ,of course, chicken and ribs! They have daily lunch specials and have soups and salads also. The food here is really good and the staff are fantastic! Grilled chicken Cesar salad is what I got today and it had a real good grilled flavor and was not overcooked. They have handicapped parking, entrance, and restrooms. Will be back, usually go 2 or 3 times a year while working in the area. 5 stars all day!!

This place was suggested by my girlfriend and I'm so glad she did. I see why chicken is in the name of the restaurant. Hot, juicy and well seasoned. I have had great chicken in my time and this ranks right up there as one of the best. Small, quaint and a friendly staff made for a great eating experience.

Great food for a great price! We did wait about an hour for our food but our waitress Julie told us the kitchen was busy and it would be a while. She was very nice and we never felt forgotten about during the wait. It was also nice to see some of the kitchen staff come out and chat with the regulars. Very friendly, local vibe. We will be back!
